Rifles allowed to shoot at SoCo 3 Gun are semi autos chambered in .223, .300blk, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, and 30-06.

- Standard Full Metal (COPPER!) Jacketed ammo is allowed.
- No steel core, steel tip, penetrator, bimetal, armor piercing, incendiary, etc. ammo is allowed at matches.
- If a magnet sticks to it, it's not allowed.
- M855 "Green Tip" and SS109 5.56mm ammo is not allowed.
- M193 5.56 ammo is only allowed with 16" and shorter barrels. Otherwise it is too fast and causes damage to steel targets. (also... it's known to shorten the life of match barrels)
- TulAmmo, Wolf, Brown Bear, Herters, etc "Bimetal Jacketed" ammo is not allowed (Wolf Gold with copper only jacket is fine).
- If you're shooting an AK/SKS, look into Red Army Elite brass ammo, and Hornady ammo. They are allowed.
Pistol Ammo:
9mm, 40s&w, .45ACP, and 38sc are all allowed.
Again, no bimetal or steel jacketed ammo allowed.

Only LEAD birdshot is allowed.
